Apple iPhone 5 to Come with A8 System-on-Chip Processor?

Last year Apple rolled out the A4 System-on-Chip processor along with the iPad. Later the same chip was integrated into the iPhone, second generation Apple TV as well as fourth generation iPod Touch. According to reports, the company is working on the next-generation iPhone. Moreover, Apple has already contacted several Taiwan-based suppliers to make components for its handset. Also it is suggested that the company is developing the ARM architecture, which is based on A8 System-on-Chip. It is created for the iPhone 5 as well as other devices.  The Apple A4 chip includes a PowerVR SGX535 graphics and ARM Cortex A8 processor that are integrated into a single die of silicon. It should be said that it is powerful enough thanks to which one can enjoy amazing graphics of the iPhone, iPad, second generation Apple TV as well as fourth generation iPod Touch.  According to rumors, the A8 SoC application processor will be created for the iPhone 5 as well as other devices. Although there are no specific details about the processor, but it is hoped that it will be enabled with a dual-core processor.  It is also suggested that future devices will come with PowerVR SGX543 graphics. It is not the first time when we hear about this graphics. Back in March 2009 it was believed that a multi-core iPhone would be unveiled. The PowerVR SGX543 is supportive to OpenCL used on Apple Mac OS X Snow Leopard as well as OpenCL. Due to the OpenCL, the operating system gets benefits of the GPU. It is expected that iOS operating with the A8 SoC will make the devices of Apple more desirable.
