Smartphone Manufacturers Look for Unique Ways

Today Samsung is flexing its muscles with its latest Galaxy S II. Sony Ericsson and HTC are more interested in Facebook integration along with mobile gaming. It looks like the war for supremacy continues in the market of smartphones.  It’s not a surprise  that the MWC 2011 has been all about Android. Nowadays a lot of vendors are using the Google’s mobile operating system, but they should work hard in order to differentiate their devices providing other features.  At the Mobile World Congress Samsung announced the Samsung Galaxy S II, which is thinner compared to the Galaxy S. it is powered by a dual-core processor and is offered with a better as well as bigger screen. The handset uses a faster Internet connection taking advantage of HSPA+.  As for HTC, it has decided to take a different route, with its just-announced handsets, the ChaCha and Salsa. Both smartphones are available with Facebook integration. They even come with a Facebook button that can light up if there is an opportunity for users to share updates and content.  Just the same goes with the Xperia Play of Sony Ericsson. The company offers a different model in a sea of Android products that has almost the same features and look the same.  According to Blaber, the Sony Ericsson’s handset has a chance to sell well, but it should have the right price.  But it would be right to admit that both HTC and Sony Ericsson do not have high-end smartphones that are enabled with a dual-core processor.  But one should not forget that only minority cares whether their smartphones are equipped with a dual-core processor.  LG Electronics is also making experiments with a 3D screen available on the Optimus 3D smartphone.
