The launching time for the Droid Bionic and Atrix 4G smartphones as well as Motorola Xoom tablet was reaffirmed by Sanjay Jha, Motorola Mobility CEO. Just free weeks ago the device wowed the Consumer Electronics Show. According to Jha, AT&T will launch the Atrix 4G smartphone by the end of February. Verizon Wireless is expected to unveil the Xoom 3G tablet in the same time frame. But still it may happen that the Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablet, which is enable with better graphics capabilities used for larger tochscreens, will be unveiled in March. It is also suggested that the dual-core processor enabled Droid Bionic as well as 4G LTE capable Xoom will be available at the end of the second quarter. both devices will be offered by Verizon. But on January 16 it was reported by Android Cetral that the Atrix 4G that has the ability to dock to a computer and features a dual-core processor, would come on March 1. the mobile device will be unveiled by AT&T. Typically the mobile carrier launches handset on Sunday. But March falls on a Tuesday. Perhaps the Atrix 4G will be rolled out Sunday, February 27. As for Engadget it received an internal document of Best Buy, suggesting that the Xoom 3G will be launched on February 17. It’s important to mention that the 3G Xooms will be upgradable to the 4G LTE network of Verizon. Now Motorola is trying to weather the news hit that Verizon is going to release the iPhone 4 on Febrary 10. It should be mentioned that Verizon is the main Android carrier of the company. On January 4 Motorola Mobility split into two companies. Motorola Solution offers enterprise products, while Jha’s company sells tablets and smartphones as well.
